Play It Forward
CAST is committed to our community. For every one of us who loves theatre, there is someone unable to attend our performances due to financial considerations or other life circumstances. CAST created the Play It Forward program as a way of eliminating these barriers and ensuring that our productions are accessible to all who wish to see them. We are grateful to the community support we have received in the form of grants, donations, and cultural partnerships. Play It Forward is our way of giving back to a community that has given so much to us.
CAST partners with various nonprofit and social service organizations to provide free or reduced-price tickets to our performances. Wherever possible, we work with organizations whose mission has a particular resonance with our individual shows. We welcome inquiries from individuals or organizations interested in the Play It Forward program. We also accept donations specifically earmarked for this outreach. Please contact CAST for more information about this important work.
Community feedback on Play It Forward:
I would like to express my deep gratitude to you and the entire CAST organization for your donation of tickets to “August: Osage County” for our FIRST/Drug Court participants. It is difficult to put into words the incredible impact that this evening had upon our participants.

Thank you for the field trip. I loved everything … the lights, the sound, the actors, the clothing. I don’t have another word but thank you. Thank you a MILLION times.

Being a techie, I have to say that the stage was my favorite part. I love versatile sets. It amazed me that so many scenes could be played on what I thought was a bare stage. By putting all of the sets inside the stage made the show just that much more impressive. When you have such good scenery, actors, set and technical aspects in a show, the only thing that it can be is simply wonderful.
